Right. Please recount your paranormal experience --- slowly.
[RECORD CLICKS, TRACK #8846 BEGINS.]
[KAPPEL]
I should apologize. This isn't a personal paranormal experience per se, rather a study and theory in regards to the paranormal experience of others, but I believe that in the hands of a capable foundation such as yourself, it will benefit others suffering my circumstances.
Up until my recent termination, I served as a psychiatrist at Eastern State Hospital. Patients were always coming in and very few were leaving, which worried me, but that concern was unable to overpower my six figure salary. I'm ashamed to admit that I did have favorites among my patients, of note were Trinity Womack, Beth Ainsley, and Katie Adler --- being the subjects of my first observations.
When Miss Adler first entered my office, I was immediately caught off guard by her unusually large eyes. They were visibly irritated and the skin around them was swollen and over the course of all our sessions I never once saw her blink.
Again, patients do not leave often, they do not leave quickly, and they certainly do not disappear from official documentation when they do. Despite all these things which I previously understood to be fact, Beth Ainsley was completely and utterly gone. She was so gone, in fact, that the room she had inhabited was also gone --- I only noticed its absence when one of my coworkers very casually remarked on how stupid it was that they had skipped over 306 when constructing the building, and that it had always messed him up during wellness checks. When I asked him where Beth Adler had stayed if not 306, he gave me a blank look and walked away.
Obviously, I became uncertain regarding my grasp on reality
[WHITLOCK]
Thank you, doctor. That'll be all.
[SHUFFLING. THE DOOR OPENS AND CLICKS CLOSED. A FEW SECONDS PASS AND WHITLOCK SIGHS.]
THE RECORD CLICKS OFF.]
Initial Notes from Alice Whitlock -- Post-interview, I contacted Kappel's closest living relatives. Given the nature of this statement, it should be noted that Kappels first childhood pet was, in fact, a pomeranian named Snowball, and there is no record of any establishment named Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, VA --- let alone the entire tidewater region. Keep an eye out. - 06 04 1991
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Further Notes from Jennifer Geirsson -- Interestingly enough, there is an Eastern COAST Hospital! Unsure when it was established, their homepage was so vague you'd think they'd just learned about buildings. Sorting this into unverified UFN. ps Leslie I know you're reviewing this, i know you got my emails. please respond - 09 13 2003
